Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of
March, 1974. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Council-
men Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde and
Councilman Spaeth.
Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-165
AMENDMENT TO THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE MUNICIPAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council on July 2, 1973 did adopt a
Comprehensive Municipal Plan following public hearings and recommenda-
tion by the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that minor changes should be
considered for the adopted Comprehensive Plan therefore not requiring
Metropolitan Council comment and review under the provisions of
Minnesota Statutes 4738.06, Subdivision 7, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Planning Commission has prepared and
reviewed a proposed amendment to said Comprehensive Municipal Plan,
and
WHEREAS, a duly advertised public hearing was held by said Planning
Commission on March 6, 1974 to consider comments and suggestions concern-
ing the proposed amendment, and
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission on March
6, 1974 said Planning Commission did make its recommendation to the Plymouth
City Council for adoption of an amendment to the Comprehensive Municipal
Plan, and
WHEREAS, this Council, after reviewing the Planning Commission's
recommended amendment to the adopted Comprehensive Municipal Plan, has
determined that the proposed amendment to the adopted Comprehensive
Municipal Plan (Exhibit A), with deletion of highway service business
area at 49th and County Road 18, represents the views and judgment of
this Council relating to this matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ,F THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the attached amendment to the Comprehensive Municiaal

Plan (Exhibit A) for the City of Plymouth dated March 18, 1974 be
and is hereby adopted as an Official Amendment No. 1 to the July 2,
1973 adopted Comprehensive Municipal Plan.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following
voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted.
