HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-164CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of March, 1974. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Council- men Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde and Councilman Spaeth. *,e�r Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-164 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 4 AND FINAL PROJECT 122 - PUMPHOUSE NO. 3 *t* WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, as Owner, and Lee Richert Plumbing and Heating, as Contractor, entered into an Agreement to construct the pump house for deep well No. 3, said Agreement being dated March 2, 1.973, and • WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the Final Request for Payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1) That the original contract amount was $44,075.00 and that Change Order No. 1 was in the amount of $149.82 (estimated amount previously approved $149.82) and that the revised contract amount is $44,244.82. 2) That the work performed by the Contractor for Project 122 and certified to this Council by the Engineer as acceptable be and the same hereby is accepted as of March 18, 1974. 3) That Request for Payment No. 4 and Final is hereby approved and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same in the amount of $4,557.32 to Lee Richert Plumb- ing and Heating. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilman Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. r Resolution No. 74-l' Page Two 2) The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resol,.Aion was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, V:e following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
