HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-160W MW CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City o? Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of March, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-160 PROJECT NO. 222 CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PLAYHOUSE INDUSTRIAL PARK WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on March 4, 1974, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of providing sanitary sewer and/or water main and necessary appurtenances to all or a portion of the following described properties: PLAYHOUSE INDUSTRIAL PARK The Southwest Quarter of Section 21 lying North of 28th Avenue North. The Northwest Quarter of Section 21, lying South of T.H. 55. The East 99 rods of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, The Southeast Quarter of Northeast Quarter of Section 20. All in Township 118 North, Range 22 West. WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assess- ment has been completed and filed in her office for public inspection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1) A hearing shall be held on the 8th day of April, 1974, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 P. M. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 1 Resolution No. 74-161,10� Page Two 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hear- ing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the im- provement. She shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hire, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: Councilman Hunt voted nay; Councilman Spaeth had left the meeting. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
