Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of March,
1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils,
Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: None.
Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:

CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
VICKSBURG LANE STREET IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on March 4, 1974,
the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost
of improving Vicksburg Lane from County Road 6 to approximately 4500 feet
north, by the installation of streets and necessary appurtenances,
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed
assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk
for public inspection,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
1) A hearing shall be held on the 8th day of April, 1974, in the
City Council Chambers in Public Works Building at 14900 -23rd
Avenue North at 7:30 P. M. to pass upon such proposed assessment
and at such time and place all persons owning property affected
by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard
with reference to such assessment.
2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the
hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in
the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hear-
ing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the
improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to
be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assess-
ment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Nells, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following voted
against or abstained: Councilman Hunt had stepped down from the table; Council-
man Spaeth had left the meeting. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted.
