HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-143CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of March, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-143 AUTHORIZATION TO EXECUTE THE SUPPLEMENTARY AGREEMENT NO. 1 WITH INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 284 WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the residents of the City of Plymouth would benefit through the use of tennis courts on certain school sites owned by Independent School District 284, and WHEREAS,pursuant to a Joint and Cooperative Agreement between the City of Plymouth and the Board of Administration of Independent School District 284 has been approved and provides for supplementary agreements to be entered into, and WHEREAS, the Joint Recreation Commitee established pursuant to said Joint and Cooperative Agreement has prepared and recommends approval of a Supplementary Agreement No. 1 for tennis courts at Oakwood Elementary School and Ridgemount Junior High School. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and Manager be authorized and directed to execute the Supplementary Agreement No. 1 (Oakwood- Ridgemount tennis courts) with Independent School District 284. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
