HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-141i CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of March, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-141 APPROVING THE REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE MANAGER AS CONTAINED IN REPORT OF MARCH 1. 1974 QUALITY HOMES - TIBURON - SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS WHEREAS, the City Nanager has submitted a report to this Council dated March 1, 1974 concerning the matter of special assessments on the Tiburon development, and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed said report and concurs in the recommendations of the Manager, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the report and recommendations of the Manager as contained in his report of March 1, 1974 are herebyapproved; and FURTHER that the Manager be directed to forward to the Finance Director of Hennepin County the special assessment roll attached to his report, such assessments to be levied for a period of 5 years effective January 1. 1975, with interest calculated at 8% per annum; and FURTHER that the City Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay to Quality Homes the sum of $54,494.09 from the special assessment fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Neils and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: Councilman Hunt. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
