HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-119LA CITY OF PLYMOUTH W Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of March, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-119 MEADOW LAWNS ESTATES 4TH ADDITION - BOND REDUCTION WHEREAS, Marvin Anderson Homes, as Developer, have platted Meadow Lawn Estates 4th Addition and therein dedicated certain streets, and pursuent to certain provisions of the City Ordinances and Development Contract No. A-177 dated March 9, 1972, have undertaken to construct certain utilities within said plat as follows: Streets, Sanitary Sewer, Water Main & Storm Sewer Saratoga Circle Union Terrace Circle Trenton Circle Union Terrace Court 38th Avenue Union Terrace Lane Saratoga Curve WHEREAS, Marvin Anderson homes, as Developer, have filed and also, made their request for bond reduction to reflect completed work on said streets, sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer by the City of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has examined and inspected said streets and utilities and recommends a reduction in the bonds by the City to reflect the completed work as shown in the Engineer's letter dated February 21, 1974. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that the bond No. 12-314-71, Meadow Lawn Estates 4th Addition Part A. issued by Wisconsin Surety Corporation in the amount of $57.769.19 is reduced to $20.362.17 as outlined in the Engineer's letter of February 21, 1974 and as provided for in the Development Contract No. A-177, dated March 9. 1972. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
