Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of
February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold.
Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-103
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT 407 - 25TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 17,
1973, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and
Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of 25th Avenue between
Magnolia Lane and approximately 1150 feet west thereof by the construction
of bituminous street and necessary appurtenances, and this report was re-
ceived by the Council Febru;ary 25, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HERE6V RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1) The Council will consider the improvement of such street in ac-
cordanc: the report and the assessment of abutting property
for all i portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota b-atutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch.
398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement
of $27,020.00.
2) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on
the 11th day of March, 1974 in the Council Chambers of the City
Public Works Garage, 14900 - 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth, Minne-
sota at 7:30 P. M. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published
notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following
voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted.
