HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-098CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spat*.h. The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-98 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS 34TH AVENUE BETWEEN KILMER LANE AND PILGRIM LANE PROJECT X1408 WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted on the 28th day of January, 1974 fixed a date for a council hearing on the pro- posed improvement of 34th Avenue between Kilmer Lane and Pilgrim Lane y the construction of a 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the nearing was held thereon on the 25th day of February, 1974 at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted February 25, 1974. 2) Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such im- provement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor, thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
