HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-094CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting cf the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Council- men Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: Councilmen Hunt and Spaeth. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-94 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NORTHEAST TRUNK WATER MAIN WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 17, 1973, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement of the Northeast Trunk Water Main and the report was received by the Council on February 11, 1974. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portioâ–º; of the post of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $452,500.00. 2) A public hearing will be held on such proposed improvement on the 28th day of March, 1974 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Garage, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
