HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-090CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Council- men Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: Councilmen Hunt and Spaeth. Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-90 PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT ASSESSMENTS ON CITY -OWNED PROPERTY WHEREAS, the City Manager in reports tc this Council dated January 8, 1974 and February 8, 1974, reviewed the matter of delinquent taxes and special assessments on City -owned property, and WHEREAS, following the direction of the City Council, he has recommended the payment of the delinquent assessments including interest and penalties which have accrued through December 31, 1973, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the Finance Director be and the same is hereby authorized and directed to make full settlement with the Finance Depart- ment of Hennepin County for all the delinquent assessments, including interest and penalties which have accrued to City -owned property as of December 31, 1973, and FURTHER that such payments are to be made from the Special Assessment Sinking Fund, and FURTHER that such payments be made not later than February 28, 1974. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
