HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-086CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Council- men Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: Councilmen Hunt and Spaeth. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-86 INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGN 25th Avenue between T.H. 101 and Dunkirk Lane WHEREAS, the layout of 25th Avenue between T.H. 101 and Dunkirk Lane could result in its becoming a thru-street and thereby causing unnecessary traffic to be channeled through the residential area, and WHEREAS, the topography at the intersection of Jewel Lane and 25th Avenue does not provide adequate sight distance for the motorists, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that the intersection of 25th Avenue and Jewel Lane be made a four way stop by the placement of stop signs on each leg of the intersection. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
