HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-084CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice t,jereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of February, 1974. The following memLers were present: Mayor Hilde, Council- men Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: Councilmen Hunt and Spaeth. Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-84 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 305 - VICKSBURG LANE WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted June 4, 1973, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement of Vicksburg Lane from County Road 6 to County Road 15 by the installation of grading, base. bituminous surfac- ing, concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage faciliti+,s and all necessary appurtenances and the report was received by the Counc 1 on February 11, 1974. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting ,property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $511,555.00. 2) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of March, 1974, in the Wayzata Senior High School, 305 Vicksburg Lane, at 7:30 P. M. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improve- ment as required by law. AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1) That a proposed preliminary assessment roll be prepared for the public hearing. 2) That a report outlining what portions of project are covered by MSA funds be available at the public hearing. 3) That a report for the public :faring be prepared to outline the estimated cost of slope easements and turning lanes at County Road 6.
