HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-080CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Seibold, Neils and Hunt. The following members were absent: Councilman Spaeth. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-80 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROCEEDING WITH THE PLANNING, DESIGNING AND CONSTRUCTION OF A CITY HALL WHEREAS, the Manager has prepared a report to the Council dated February 5, 1974, concerning recommendations for proceeding with the planning, design- ing and construction of a City Hall, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the City Manager be, and the same is hereby authorized, to proceed in accordance with the recommendations contained in his report of February 5, 1974 as follows: 1) Establish a program paper with the Cerny & Associates firm indicating the scope of the anticipated City Hall, including space requirements for the period to 1990 (15 years). 2) Costs for such a program. 3) Project financing. 4) Time table for preliminary design, cost estimates, public relations, elections, final design, construction and occupancy. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in r;vor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Seibold, Neils and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 1
