RESOLUTION NO. 74-74
PLYMOUTH FIRE DEPARTMENT COMMENDATION
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Fire Department has been a vital part of the
community's overall public safety program since 1959, and
WHEREAS, through the tireless efforts of the members of the Fire Depart-
ment many lives have been saved from the ravages of fire and other disasters
along with incalculable economic savings in terms of property, and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth firefighters have continually respo,,ded to their
fellow citizens' needs at all hours of the day and night in order that we
all may live with a feeling of safety and security,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. C1= THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that the Plymouth City Council on behalf of all citizens of our com-
munity take this opportunity to salute, commend and express our heartfelt
thanks to all the members of the Plymouth Fire Department for their tireless
efforts in protecting the lives and property of our fine citizens.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Hunt. The following voted
against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.
