HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-070CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Hunt. The following members were absent: Councilman Spaeth. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-70 SITE PLAN APPROVAL - NORTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY FOR A CENTRA! SWITCHING EQUIPMENT FACILITY WHEREAS, Northwestern Bell Telephone Company has requested site plan approval, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Planning Commission has reviewed said request and has recommended approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the site plan request of Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for a central switching equipment facility to be located Northeast of Fern - brook Lane and County Road 9 be approved subject to the following conditions: 1) That two "dry" fire hydrants be added as per Fire Chief recommendations. 2) That a cistern and fire pump to supply sprinkler system be included if required by the State Building Code. 3) That a performance bond for landscaping be posted and that there be no outside storage of materials or waste containers. 4) That the landscaping plan dated 12/17/73 be revised to show all proposed plantings within property lines exclusive of street ROW's. 5) That sign as proposed maintain a 50 ft. setback from the future street right of way. 6) That the parking and drives be paved with hard surface rather than gravel. 7) That the undeveloped street right of way to the west and south of the property be graded compatible with site grade and ground cover be restored. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
