HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-065CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, .Seibold and Hunt. The following members were absent: Councilman Spaeth. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-65 AGREEMENT BETWEEN RELATE, INC. AND THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH WHEREAS, Relate, Inc., a Minnesota non-profit corporation, has indicated its willingness to provide counselling and crisis intervention services to the citizens of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, such assistance is of value to the City and particular- ly its Police Department, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the Mayor and Manager be authorized to execute an agreement, Exhibit A, dated February 4, 1974, between Relate, Inc. and the City of Plymouth by the terms of which Relate will provide con- sultants to and act as counsellors for the Plymouth Police Department and make its other services available to any person, group or family in Plymouth, and that the City will, in turn, provide financial support to Relate in the amount of $2,000 for said services for the year 1974. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $2,000 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the City's contingency fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
