HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-064CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the C*'ty Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of February, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Hunt. The following members were absent: Councilman Spaeth. adoption: Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 74-64 STREET VACATION IN "PARKER LAKE GARDENS" WHEREAS, Carlson Properties, Inc. has requested vacation of a street located within "Parker Lake Gardens", said street being located south of County Road 6 and west of Xenium Lane, and WHEREAS, all interested property owners and utility companies have been notified of the proposed vacation and the utility com- panies have indicated they have no need for the right-of-way, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the following described street is hereby vacated: "That part of East Street as platted in "Parker Lake Gardens" according to the recorded plat thereof lying South of the Southerly right-of-way line of County State Aid Highway No. 6, Plat 5 as delineated in Book 2 of Highway Plats, Files of the Registrar of Titles, County of Hennepin. Also That part of South Street as platted in "Parker Lake Gardens" according to the recoided plat thereof lying East of the Southerly extension of the Easterly line of Lot 21 of said "Parker Lake Gardens." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
