HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-054CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 28th Day of January, 1974. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Hunt. The following members were absent: Councilman Spaeth. ,ter *** tirtr Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-54 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 408 WHEREAS, Pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 17, 1973, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with respect to the improvement of 34th Avenue between Kilmer Lane and Pilgrim Lane by the construction of a 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances, and this report was received by the Council on January 28, 1974. NOW, :HEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLIMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $30,495.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 25th day of February, 1974 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building at 7:30 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Hunt. The follow- ing voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
