HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-052CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of January, 1974. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Council- men Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde. Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-52 ICE SKATING EASEMENTS WHEREAS, Wallace A. Turner and H. Colin Sanders have granted the u public to ice skate on their property, and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth finds that a public skating area on these properties is of public benefit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the City of Plymouth accepts the ice skating easement from H. Colin Sanders, owner of Lot 7, Block 4, Greentree Forest 2nd Addition,and W. A. Turner, owner of the South 268 feet of the West 231 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 except roads, and agrees to hold harm- less H. Colin Sanders and W. A. Turner for any damages either to person or property arising by reason of the public use of said properties for ice skating purposes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. irir,r *ter ***
