HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-051CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of January, 1974. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-51 AMENDMENT REGARDING PARK DEDICATION REQUIREMENTS WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council on July 2, 1973 by Resolution No. 73-243 did adopt a policy resolution setting forth standards and guidelines relating to the Park Dedication requirements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that said resolution be hereby amended by changing all Village reference to City and amending paragraph 3 to read as follows: Subdividers and developers of commercial and industrial land within the Cit of Plymouth shall be required to dedicate a". the time the property is developed and site lan approved to the City Of ymout or park, playground. public open space and storm water holding purposes that amount of land having a value equal to ten percent of the land value within the development, or cash in lieu thereof as provided in Paragraph 5. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
