CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of January, 1974. The
following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and
Spaeth. The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde.
Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-50
PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL CITY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
RETIREMENT CORPORATION DEFERRED COMPENSATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Manager has recommended that the persons occupying the
positions of City Engineer, Finance Director and Director of Planning and
Community Development be permitted to participate in the International City
Management Association Retirement Corporation deferred compensation program,
and
WHEREAS, the participation of these employees is deemed to be proper
by the City Attorney,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that persons occupying the positions of City Engineer, Finance Direc-
tor, Director of Planning and Community Development and Police Chief be and
the same are hereby authorized to participate in the International City Manage-
ment Association Retirement Corporation deferred compensation program, provided,
however, that any amounts so deferred shall have come solely from the total
compensation appropriated and authorized by this Council for the persons
occupying those positions and that no additional cost will be incurred by
the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor, Manager and Clerk be and the same
are hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents to carry out the
intent of this resolution.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following
voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.
