VILLAGE' OF'`PLYMOIITH'
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village,
Council of Lhe,�Wllage of Plymouth,Minnesota was held on the 17th day of
December. 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,, Councilmen
Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth: The following members were absent: None.
Councilman Seibold.,introduced'th'IoTlorcing Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 73-488
WHEREAS, the Village Council on.April 2, 1973, ordered the preparation
of engineering reports relative kto providing water treatment for the Village's;
water supply, and
WHEREAS, the reports have been received and reviewed by the Village
Council, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council after considerable review and discussion
have;dete'mined that an iron -removal water treatmeht plant is the most efft!*
cient and economic manner in which to proceed" solving the Village's water'
treatment problem,
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE PILLAGE COUNCIL OF -THE ,
VILLAGE,OF PLYMOUTH, that the engineering fim,.ofBonestroo,.Rosene, Anderlik
and Associates.. Inc. be designated, VillagesConsultn4 Engl,neer for an ;iron ,
removal treatment plant and ancillary. imp rovements'�as,requi'red,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the�Yillage Staff be instructed to work
with"the Consultant in detenining the'type of plant, method of treatment,..;..;
amount of storage, etc., and make recommendations to the Council as to these
matters; by January, 7, 1974.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing;`Resolution was duly seconded:;
�-by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote -being taken thereon, tfie following voted '.'
in favor thereof: Mayor Hi'lde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The
following voted against or abstained Councilman Spaeth, Whereupon the
Resolution, was declared duly passed and adopted,
