HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-484VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of December, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-484 WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Nathan Lane between 10th Avenue and 13th Avenue by the construction of a 9 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer facilities, and all necessary appurtenances and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) and, WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer, Bones troo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. have previously prepared a preliminary report on the above improvement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, that the proposed improvement be referred to Bonestroo,. Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed -advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the updated estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: Councilman Spaeth. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. *** STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS.
