Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the 17th day of
December, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: None.
Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-483
WHEREAS, it is proposed to extend the Village Trunk Water Distribution
System by the construction of water trunk main between the following points:
2J to approximately 1700 feet south.
2J to 2K
2K to 2M
2M to 1H
1H to IE
1E to 1F
1F to lI
lI to 1B
as shown in the Report on Water Distribution for Plymouth, Minnesota, 1972, ands
to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the im-
provement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws
1953, Chapter 398, as amended).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that 'the `proposed improvement be referred to Consulting
Engineer Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates for study which shall include
the following considerations:
1) The most economical and practical route which may not necessarily
be along existing street right-of-ways.
2) Any proposed developments on file with the Village.
and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improve-
ment is feasible and as to whether it should bast be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improve-
ment as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken tnereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The
following voted against or abstained! Councilman Spaeth. Whereupon the
Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
