HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-442ow w VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village iCouncil of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of !November, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its jadoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-442 ! WHEREAS, Jerome P. Begin has requested a renewal of his Conditional Use ;Permit to operate a landfill with said Conditional Use Permit having been !approved on July 19, 1971 for one year, and # WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has reviewed said request and has recommended denial of the request, WHEREAS, the Council and Petitioner understand that this request is made to insure the orderly closing of this landfill operation, I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the request of Jerome P. Begin for a proposed landfill Conditional Use Permit renewal within the R-0 District on a 12 acre site generally located at the southeast corner of County Road 9 and I-494 be ap- proved subject to the following conditions: 1) No garbage. 2) No burning. 3) Attendant during open hours. 4) Nightly covering with six inches of appropriate soil. 5) No toxic wastes or solvents. 6) Improved screening. 7) Permit application approval by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Hennepin County Public Works Department, Environ- mental Division. 8) That enforcement procedures be implemented by the Village, County, and PCA to insure that the conditions specified and the operation procedures called out in the engineering report are not violated. 9) That this permit is to expire on October 31, 1974, however if any of the above conditions are not met, that the Conditional Use Per- mit be terminated immediately. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth.
