HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-419VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 15th day of October, 1973. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-419 WHEREAS, Arne Allan Hill has requested a Conditional Use Permit to operate a used car lot in a B-3 district at 3510 Kilmer Lane, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has reviewed said request, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the request of Arne Allan Hill for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a used car lot in a B-3 district at 3510 Kilmer Lane be denied for the following reasons: 1) A potential safety hazard would be created in an already congested area. 2) That this type of business should not be located in this area. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: Councilman Seibold. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on October 15, 1973, with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
