Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of
October, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
Spaeth. Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: None.
Councilman Neils intim ducal the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-393
WHEREAS. the Plymouth Village Council on February 5, 1973, by
Resolution #F73-47 did approve of a Site Plan for Lake Street Industries
located at 2100 Xenium Lane, and
WHEREAS, said Site Plan provided for one yard sign 8 feet long and
2 feet 4 inches high to be set back 50 feet with 15 inch letters to be
placed on the face of the west side of the building, and
WHEREAS, Gerry Wellik, President of Lake Street Industries, has
requested a revision to the approved Site Plan to permit the con-truction
of a sign 15' x 4'2" set 1' off the ground and 35' from the property line,
thereby requiring a setback variance of 15'.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF PLYMOUTH that the request of Gerry Wellik of Lake Street Industries
to revise the Site Plan in order to permit the location of a sign within
35 feet of the property line (variance of 15 feet requested) be hereby
approved.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt and Neils. The
following voted against or abstained: Councilman Seibold. Whereupon the
Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared
the foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meeting of the Village
Councilof said Village held on October 9, 1973, with the original thereof
on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript
therefrom.
