HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-385VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village ncil of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 9th day of ober, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen eth, Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-385 WHEREAS, American Universal has requested Preliminary Plat approval for proposed "West Tonka Estates" under the provisions of the Plymouth Village Subdivision Regulations, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has reviewed said proposed Preliminary Plat located between County Road 15 and Third Avenue North, Niagara and Ranchview Lanes, and has recommended approval, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the proposed Preliminary Plat of "West Tonka Estates" be approved subject to the following conditions: I 1) That the final plat show 6 foot utility easements along the side and rear lot lines of each proposed lot. 2) That drainage easements shown on the final plat correspond with the Storm Drainage Plan and that a revised grading plan be submitted to the Village Engineer which creates a ponding area designed and shaped to blend in with the existing topography and preserve some of the natural vegetation if possible. 3) That the park dedication requirements consist of a 20 -foot trail and walkway easement along the north and east sides of the pro- perty and that the northern lots be altered from 117' wide to 112' wide with the southern lots to be altered from 120' wide to 115' wide (based on the recommendation of the Parks and Recrea- tion Advisory Commission at its meeting of September 6, 1973). 4) That Lots 5 and 6 and separately Lots 7 and 8 shall be developed to have a ingle driveway serving each pair of lots on County Road 15. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor th?reof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt, Neils and Seibold.
