Pursuant to due call and noticethereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of
October, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: Spaeth.
Councilman Neils introduce the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:

RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT
1973 WEED DESTRUCTION AND ERADICATION
j WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the
Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed
assessment for the destruction and eradication of noxious weeds on certain
lands within the Village of Plymouth as provided by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special
assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land
therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed
improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it.
2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending
over a period of 1 year, the first of the installments to be payable
on or before the first Monday in January, 1974 and shall bear interest
at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of the adoption of this
assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added intens
on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until Decem-
ber 31, 1973. To each subsequent installments when due shall be added
interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to
certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay th
whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the
date of payment, to the Village treasurer, except that no interest .
shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from
the adoption of this resolution; and he may at any time thereafter,
pay to the county treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remain
ing unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31, of the year in which
such payment is made.
4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit�a,certified duplicate of this
assessment to the County Finance -Director to be extended on the proper
tax lists of the, county and such assessments shall be collected and
paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
lin favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, and Seibold. The
ifollowing voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified Acting Clerk of the Village
of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the
foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meeting of the Village Council
of said Village held on October 4, 1973, with the original thereof on file in
my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom
