HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-376AVILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of. the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was helc on the 10th day of September, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: None. RRR RRR RRR Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-376 (A) FOR IEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT 23RD AVENUE NORTH WATERMAIN, PROJECT 023 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 4, 1973, the Village Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving 23rd Avenue North from Lancaster Lane to approximately 350 feet east thereof by the installation of watermain and necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection, NOW, THEREFORE, K- IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYM1[]11i that: (1) (2) A hearing shall be held on the 4th day of October, 1973 in the Village hall at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such tim3 and place all persons owning property affected by ,such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard With reference to such assessment. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official news- paper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was ily seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vete being taken thereo , the following voted in favor thereof: Mayo.•iii.Lde, Councilmen Hunt Neils, Seibold and Spaeth._- The following voted against or abstaine ` None. VILLAGE OF PLYbDITM I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth,; Minnesota hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on September 10, 1973 with the original thereof on file in my office, and the sada: is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
