HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-372AVILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of September, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: None. AAA AAA AAA Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-372 (A) FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT SO(TIHWEST SANITARY SEWER, WATER AND STREET RESTORATION PROJECT NO. 68 -IE WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 4, 1973, the Village Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement of the Southwest sanitary sewer and water area by the install- ation of sanitary sewer, watertmain, street restoration and necessary appurtenan WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has not been completed and filed in his office for public inspection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that: (1) A hearing shall be held on the 4th day of October, 1973 in the Village hall at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon suich proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. (2) The Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was, duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth.
