Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was
held on the 4th day of September, 1973. The following members
were present: Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The
following members were absent: Mayor Hilde.
Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-367
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR
DELINQUENT SANITARY SEWER SERVICE CHARGES $
DELINQUENT WATER SERVICE CHARGEE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 444.075 M.S.A. and Chapter
VIII, Section 8.02 of the Village Code of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota,
a determination has been made that certain charges for sanitary sewer and water
service have not been paid as provided by law, and the total amount of such
delinquent charges including incidental expenses incurred is in the amount of
$109,948.09; and of this cost the Village will pay $0.00 as its share of the
cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby
declared to be $109,948.09.
2. The Village Clerk, with the assistance of the Village Engineer,
shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed
for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation as
provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment
in his office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment
notify the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
my seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt,
Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or
abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted.
