HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-366VILLAGE,OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of'the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of September, 1973. The following members were present: Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth.The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 73-366 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR PROTECT NO. 023 WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Nathan Lane from 26th Avenue North to Pilgrim Lane by the installation of watermain and necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is $5,444.75 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $816.71 so that the total cost of said improvement will be $6,261:46; and of this amount the Village will pay '$0.00 as its share of the cost, Nw, THERE m, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE CUMIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOU11i that 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $6,261.46. i' 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning WATER AREA CHARGE Residential - $2Z 5 per dwelling unit 3. The Village Clerk, with the assistance of the Village Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement aga)nst every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment not notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution y: was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken U thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt; Neils, Seibold and Spaeth.
