HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-351VILLAGE-OF`PLY'MOUTff = Pursuant to due .call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was Meld on the 4th day of September, 1973. The following members were present: Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde. A. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and .f moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-351 WHEREAS, Carlson Companies, Inc., 12715 Highway 55, has requested a Conditional Use Permit for a Planned Business Development and Site Plan approval under the provisions of the Plymouth Village Zoning Ordinance in order to develop a motel and restaurant, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended approval, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLA[X CMWIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PIUMOM that the request of Carlson Companies., Inc. for approval of a Conditional Use Permit for a Planned Business Development an& a Site'Plan for the development of a"motel and restaurant complex at the Southeast corner of I-494 and State Highway S5 be approved subject to the following conditions and stipulations being understood and/or met before a Building Pert is rived. 1. It is understood that Annapolis Lane access to Highway SS will be closed when anew street is constructed between Annapolis Lane and County Road 61. 2. The Carlson Companies are to petition for the construction of said street between Annapolis and County; Road 61 and the extension of 24th Avenue North from Zinnia Lane to County Road 61, which streets are to be approved and undertaken by the Village of Plymouth as a public iMrovement project. 3. Fire, hydrants and fire lanes be installed as noted on Site Plan dated August 9, 1973. 4. A variance for a SO-foothigh'sign be.pe:mitted. S. Gate structures not to exceed 20 feet be permitted within the setbaek area off Annapolis Lane. 6. Landscapping and drainage, bonds be posted. 7. Park dedication of $3.750 (7.5 acres X $500 per acre) be paid to the Village Treasurer as it is determined that park laid is not required. 8. That: the street right--of-way .for Annapolis Lane and any other drainage and utility easements:as determined by the Village:Engineer be deeded to the Village of Plymouithland filed with Hennepin County. BE IT RM HER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Manager be hereby authorized to sign; in behalf of the Village of Plymouth any legal- documents relating to the street and utility easements for this`proposed project.
