HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-335VILLAGE OF PLYMOM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of August, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The followinb members were absent: None. see* rer fi** Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-335 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROV904T PROJECT NO. 304 M EREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted June 4, 1973, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik $ Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of streets in the Hughes First and Second Additions and the proposed Roger L. Johnson Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, water and streets, and drainage facilities and necessary appurtenances and this report was received by the Council on August 20, 1973. NOW UEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYM M that the Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $434,088.71, and FURTHER, it is hereby determined that for previously constructed sanitary sewer trunks, forcemai.ns, lift station and interceptor charges and water trunk main, wells, pumping and storage facilities charges for all the properties within the previously aforementioned improvement areas of Project No. 304 to the extent said properties were not assessed for said facilities; and the following charges shall be applied to the existing land use zoning: Water Area Charges Residential $225 per h acre or dwelling unit Commercial $ Industrial $675 per acre Sanitary Sewer Area Charges Residential $225 per h acre or dwelling unit Commercial $ Industrial $675 per acre A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 4th day of September, 1973 in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improve- ments as required by law. RESOLUTION NO.,"Y14M Page Two The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was . duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth.
