HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-327VILLAGE OF PLYMOU Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of August, 1973. The following members were ' present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt and Seibold. The following members were absent: Councilmen Neils and Spaeth. Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-327 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted July 23, 1973 a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of Xenium Lane between the Chicago - Northwestern Railroad track and approximately 1320 feet south thereof by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, 9 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities and necessary appurtenances, ' and report was received by the Council on August 13, 1973. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOITTH that the Council will consider the improvement of such street �. in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $236,700.00, and FURTHER, it is hereby determined that for previously constructed water° trunk mains, wells, humping and storage facilities charges shall be applied' to the existing land use zoning as shown below: Sanitary Sewer & Watermain Area Charge. Residential - $225 per h acre or dwelling unit Commercial $ Industrial - $675 per acre and such charges shall be assessed against all previously described properties'` to the extent that such properties were not previously assessed. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27th day of August, 1973 in the council chambers of the"village hall at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improve- ment as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: Council Neils and Spaeth.
