HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-242VILLAG: OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of July, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth and Neils. The following member was absent: Councilman Seibold. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-242 WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has been duly created by ordinance in accordance with Chapter 463 of the Laws of Minnesota to plan for the future guide of development of land in the Village of Plymuuth, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has prepared and re- viewed a proposed Comprehensive Municipal Plan for guiding the future develop- ment of the Village of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, duly advertised"publi`c hearings were held by said Planning Commission on January .14,, 1973 and January, 24, 1973 to consider comments and suggestioi: concerning the Comprehensive Munftipal:Plan, and,, WHEREAS, at a -regular meeting on March 7, 1973 said Planning Commission did make its recommendation`to the Plymouth Village Council for adoption of a Comprehensive Municipal Plan, and WHEREAS., this Council after reviewing the Planning Commission's recom- mended Comprehensive Municipal Plan ane making some amendments thereto has determined that the attached Comprehensive Municipal Plan ('Exhibit A) repre- sents'the views and judgment of this Council relating to the matters involved, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the attached Comprehensive Municipal Plan (Exhibit A) for the Village of Plymouth consisting of a report and maps titled "Compre- hensive Municipal Plan, Village of Plymouth" and dated July 2, 1973, be and is hereby adopted as the official Village Comprehensive Municipal Plan, and BE IT fURTHER RESOLVED that until such time as a revised Zoning Ordinance is adopted which will implement the concepts contained in the Comprehensive Municipal Plan that the existing zoning regulations of the Village of Plymouth. shall govern: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor ,Hilde, Coun- cilmen Hunt, Spaeth and Neils. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly Hunt, Spaeth and Neils. The following voted against or abstained.:.' None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Coun- cil of said Village held on July 2, 1973, .with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete_ transcript therefrom.
