HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-219VILLAGE OF.P,LYMOUT Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of June , 1973. The follow- ing members were present: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt. Spaeth. Seibold and Neils The following members were absent: None *t* Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolu- tion and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-219 WHEREAS, Belmar Builders has requested a Conditional Use Permit for a Planned Business Development based upon a General Development Plan for their property located at the northwest quadrant of Highway 55 and Fernbrook Lane, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has reviewed said request and has recommended approval, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the request of Belmar Builders for a Conditional Use Permit for a Planned Business Development based upon the General Development Plan dated 6-6-73 be approved subject to the condition that prior to and/or concurrently withsite plan approval within the Planned Business Development that the platted lots being developed be rearrangdd.-arid FURTHER, that the motel site be removed and that area be reverted back to office buildings as originally proposed at the time of rezoning be- cause of the Council's concern that the motel or hotel activity in this area may cause a deleterious night-time effect upon the single family and multiple family residences in the area and because of the increased amount of traffic that would be forced through Harbor Lane which is already heavily traveled due to the offices and multiple residences which exist in the Fox Meadows development. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by tnunrilman Seidnld , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: —Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth. Seibold and Neils The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
