HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-167VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to die call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day of May, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold & Neils The following members were absent: None Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolu- tion and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-167 A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF SECTION 462.358 SUBDIVISION 4, MINNESOTA STATUTES AND SECTION 9.02 OF CHAPTER VII OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATIVE TO CONVEYANCES BY METES AND BOUNDS OF PARCELS OF LAND CONTAINING LESS THAN FIVE ACRES WHEREAS, Ronald L. and Vern C. Dotseth, who own land in Section 4 of they Village of Plymouth, have requested a subdivision variance, and WHEREAS, the Village Planning Commission has reviewed said request and. recommends approval, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has now determined that the subdivision of said land into two parcels, each of which would contain less than five (5) acres, would not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Regulations of the Village of Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such subdivision would create an unnecessary hardship on such owners, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH as follows: 1. Compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358, Subdivision 4, Minnesota Statutes, and Section 9.02 of Chapter VII of the Village Code relating to conveyances by metes and bounds of parcels of land containing an area of less than five. (5) acres is hereby waived with respect to the following described parcels: PARCEL A The North 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4, Township 118N, Range 22W, Hennepin County, Minnesota. PARCEL B The South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4, Township 118N, Tange 22W, Hennepin County, Minnesota. 2. The Village Clerk is directed to prepare a certified copy of this Resolution for recording purposes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was dul ! seconded by Councilman Seibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils The following voted against or abstained: _.None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. i STATE OF MINNLSOTA COUNTY OF HENNEPIN SS.
