Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was
held on the 19th day of March, 1973. The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Spaeth, Seibold & Neils
,The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde
Councilman Seibold introduced the following Res(
lution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-114
WHEREAS, Martin Bennis, President of Minnesota Exteriors, Inc., has
requested site plan approval under the provisons of the Plymouth Village
Zoning Ordinance for the development of a building on Outlot B, Snyder's
Pine Ridge Addition,_and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has reviewed and
recommended approval of said request,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the request of Martin Bennis, President of Minnesota
Exteriors, Inc., for a site plan approval on Outlot 8, Snyder's Pine Ridge
Addition be approved subject to the following conditions and variances:
1. Petitioner grant the Village 27 additional feet of right of way
.along State Highway 101; (condition),
2. A front 'yard setback from Highway 101 of 35 feet be allowed or
15 feet less than required; variance)
3. The storm drains be tied into the Village storm drainage system
with final plans subject to the Village Engineer's approval;
(condition)
4. A performance bond for landscaping and drainage plan be executed
and subject to Village staff approval. Species and planting/
mature sizes of trees and shrubs be indicated; (condition)
5. That 14 parking spaces be provided or 9 less than required;
(variance)
6. A variance of 20 feet from the 75 foot setback on the west side
of the property be granted to allow for the parking as indicated;
(variance)
7. The access be adjusted at the point where Merrimac bends to pro-
vide a radial rather than an angular entrance onto Merrimac;
(condition)
B. That the site plan be subject to Minnehaha Creek Watershed District
approval. (condition)
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Neils and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting
Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Spaeth, Seibold and Neils The
