Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was
held on the 26th day of February, 1973. The following members
were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth and Neils
The following members were absent: Councilmen Hunt and Seibold

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Reso-
lution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-93
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Pump and Motor
for Well No. 3, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law,
and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
CONTRACTOR BID BOND BID AMOUNT
• Layne-MinnesotaCompany SY $9,121.00
Tonka Equipment Company 5% 9.195.00
E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. 5% 9.810.00
• Does not meet specifications
jf WHEREAS, it appears that Tonka Equipment Company of Minneapolis.
} Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
;! VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH as follows:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Tonka Equipment Company of Minneapoli
e Minnesota, in the Village of Plymouth for the Pump and Motor for Well
No. 3 according to the plans and specifications therefore approved
i by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk
2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forth-
with to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that
the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor
Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth and Neils The following
voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
