HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-092VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursua-nt to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of November, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth and Neils The following members were absent: Councilmen Hunt and Seibold r Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Reso= lution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-92 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for construction of f Pumphouse No. 3, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, ! and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: f BID BASE DEDUCT FOR TOTAL j CONTRACTOR BOND BID P.QUA TROL BID ,f - Lee Richert Plumbing 5% $45,575.00 $1,500.00 $44,075.00 �- Magney Construction 5% 46,250:00 1,554.00 44,696.00 Berglund -Johnson, Inc. 5% 47,245.00 1,1550.00 45,695.00 Healy Mechanical Contr. 5% 48,970.00 1,560.00 47,410.00 Robert 0. Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH as follows: 1. The Mayor and Clerk and hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Lee Richert Plumbing and Heating:, Inc. of Stillwater, Minnesota, in the Village of 'Plymouth for the construction of Pumphouse No. according to the plans and speci- fications therefore approved.by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk, for the low bid of $44,075.00. i 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed.to return forth- with to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shal be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon. the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth and Neils The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. { Pigs �j f' STATE OF MINNESQTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPTN ) SS.
