VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was
held on the 20th day of February, 1973. The following members
were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and
Neils The following members were absent: None
Councilman Hunt introduced the following Res-
lolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-72
WHEREAS, the Village Council on October 24, 1973 adopted a Sidewalk
and Trail policy for the Village of Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, said policy will require the development of a school walk
system policy in order to be properly implemented, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth believes that the enhancement of
urban life along with the protection of the public health, safety and wel-
fare, can be enhanced through the development of a comprehensive sidewalk
and trail system,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the appropriate C.C.R.'s and the Mayor are hereby
authorized and directed to meet with the appropriate representatives of
the School Districts in order that the School Boards might assist in the
formulation of a school walk policy which will be compatible with the over-
all Sidewalk and Trail policy of the Village of Plymouth.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by ,^ Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor
Hilde Councilmen Hunt. Spaeth. Seibold and Neils The
following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
