HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-067VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a sr4ecial meeting of the Village.Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of February, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and ;Neils. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and kmoved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-67 WHEREAS, Patrecia L. Donnelly has requested a Conditional Use Permit to operate a home.occupation (beauty shop) in her home at 4125 A Quaker Lane under the provisions of the Plymouth Village Zoning Ordinance, and WHEREAS, the PlymouthVillage Planning Commission has reviewed said re- quest and has recommended denial, NOW,` THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMM14 that the Conditional Use Permit request of Patrecia Donnelly to operate a home occupation (beauty shop) at 4125 A Quaker Lane be denied for the following reasons: 1. Due to the hazards it would create for occupants of an already densely populated area; 2. Because of the steep street grade and sharp curve; 3. That the request is in violation of Objective #3 under Security within the Goals, Objectives and Criteria adopted by the Village. il The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was 3 �Iduly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declare duly passed and adopted. STATEOFMINNESOTA COUNTY OF HENNEPN SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH _ I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meeting of the Village Coun- cil of'said Village held on February 20, 1973, with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript there- from.
