HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-029VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of ,,the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of January, 1973. The following members were ;present. Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth and Seibold. The 'following members were absent: Councilman Neils. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and t( Pmoved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73-29 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared preliminary plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 188 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 55 within the corporate limits of the Village of Plymouth at the intersection of South Shore Drive (CSAH 73), and WHEREAS, said preliminary plans are on file in the office of the Depart- ment of Highways, Golden Valley, Minnesota, being marked, labeled and identi- fied as Layout #1 and Alternate A. S.P. 2723-34 (T.H. 55-188) at the inter- section of South Shore Drive (CSAH 73), and WHEREAS, copies of said preliminary plans as so marked, labeled and iden- tified are also on file in the office of the Village Clerk, and WHEREAS, the term "said preliminary plans" as hereinafter used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and incorporate the preliminary plans as in the foregoing recitals particularly Identified and described, NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE :;VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that said preliminary plans along with proposed Alternate jA for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 188 renumbered Trunk Highway ;;Number 55 within the limits of the Village of Plymouth be and hereby are ','approved subject, however, to the maintaining of the existing cross-over in "front of the dairy Queen with reconsideration given to the closing of this %cross-over at such time as the staff is able to make a recommendation as to :;'how the Village might acquire the service drive which runs from West Medicine .,Lake Drive to South Shore Drive. ii d z S i The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was �duiy seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken ;'thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Coun- �cilman Hunt, Spaeth and Seibold. The following voted against or ,r t, :abstained: None.
