HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1973-024VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of lthe Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was heldi on the 22nd day of January, 1973. The following members were !present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth and Seibold. The 'lfollowing members were absent: Councilman Neils. i Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and imoved its adoption: `s RESOLUTION NO. 73-24 A KESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS FOR FAZENDIN PARK 3RD 6 4TH ADDITIONS ii WHEREAS, Anna E. Karels and Roger A. Fazendin have requested that certain `+assessable costs for Fazendin Park 3rd and 4th Additions be assessed to the jots in said additions, if NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE ;;VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: is 'i 1. The Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village is Engineer, calculated the proper amounts to be specially assess- ed for Fazendin Park Third and Fourth Additions against every } assessable lot, piece or parcel of land, in accordance with the provisions of law, and has prepared and filed in her office tab- ulated statements in duplicate showing the proper description of each and every lot, piece or parcel of land to be specially j assessed in the amount calculated against the same; 2. The record owner of the land within this assessment district has waived her right in writing to a public improvement hearing and a special assessment hearing and agreed to accept the pro- posed assessments as reflected on the Special Assessment Roll; 3. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces or parcels of land_ enumerated in said proposed assessment was and is specially benefited by the construction of water and sanitary sewer im- provements in the amount in said proposed assessment set opposite the description of each such lot, piece or parcel of land and that said amount is hereby levied and assessed; 4. Such proposed assessment is affirmed, adopted and confirmed, and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment with the changes and alterations hereinabove made are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces or parcels of land respectively; 5. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shall be cer- tified to by the Village Clerk and filed in her office and shall thereupon be and constitute the special assessment for each lot within Fazendin Park Third and Fourth Addition; 6. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or parcel of land 'f shall bear interest from the date hereof until the same have ! been paid at the rate of eight (8) percent per annum; 'f ii 4�{
