Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular.,
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minne
sota was held on the Sth day of January 1973. The
following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt,
Spaeth, Seibold and Neils The following member
were absent: None
Councilman Hunt introduced the following Res-
olution and moved its adoption-:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-18
WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth had directed the Village Attorney to
bring an action against Universal Circuits for damage to the Village's sanitary
sewer system, and
WHEREAS, this case was tried in the District Court and a judgment was
entered into as a result of this action, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determined that this judgment was not satis-
factory and instructed the Village Attorney to appeal said judgment, and
WHEREAS, the Village Attorney has met with the representatives of Universal
Circuits and has reached an agreement whereby a satisfactory settlement could be sl
made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF PLYMOUTH that the agreement heretofore negotiated on behalf of the Village of
Plymouth by the Village Attorney with respect to a settlement of the Universal
Circuits action iri the amount of a lump sum of $40,000 in lieu of further lits-
gation be and the same is hereby accepted.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils The
following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared
the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular f/AIWlM meeting of the
Village Council of said Village held on january 8 1973,
with the original thereof on file in my otflce, and the same is a full, true
and Complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal of the
