C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-086
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING R ESOURCE P LANNING F UND E XPENDITURE
FOR H UMAN R ESOURCES R ECORDS P ROJECT
WHEREAS, the City utilizes an electronic document management system (Laserfiche) to reduce
physical storage requirements, organize content efficiently, and secure content; and
WHEREAS, the City maintains funds in the Resource Planning Fund to build and maintain this
document management system; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources division has files identified for incorporation into the document
management system; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources division intends to hire part-time, temporary staff to assist with
scanning and organizing documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that an expenditure of up to $20,000 from the resource planning fund for wages to scan
human resources files into Laserfiche is authorized.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 10th day of March, 2020.
