R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-070
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE P URCHASE OF
A N EW T YMCO 500X S TREET S WEEPER
WHEREAS, the 2020-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and Water Resources budget includes
the purchase of one new street sweeper; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth may make purchases off the State of Minnesota contracts; and
WHEREAS, Environmental Equipment and Services, Inc. has a contract with the State of Minnesota
for a sweeper that meets the City’s specifications, contract #153285.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that:
1. The purchase of a new Tymco 500X Street Sweeper for $296,665.00 from Environmental
Equipment and Services, Inc. is approved.
2. Funding from the sweeper shall come from the Water Resources Fund.
